Day 01 : Scenic Countryside Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Park

After breakfast at your checked-in hotel or lodge in Entebbe/Kampala, our most trusted Uganda Safari driver/guide will pick you up and off on a journey to start the Wildlife Safari , Chimpanzee & Gorilla Trekking Uganda adventure with 6 hours drive through the most beautiful parts of Uganda south-westwards to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. If you like driving in the countryside, believe me, you'll love this. This part of the country is gorgeous, the roads are smooth tarmac, fresh from construction a couple of years and the pictures you'll take, will be talked about on your social media timelines. Your guide will make stopovers at the Equator for photograph and lunch in Mbarara town. You will then drive past banana plantations, Farms and beautiful hills of Kigezi for your overnight at any accommodation according to your safari budget.

Day 02 : Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Park

We rise early for breakfast and head to the ranger station for a short briefing with our lead ranger about our mountain gorilla trek. The gorilla trek can range from 30 minutes to 5 hours, before we come into close contact with the family. The rangers will lead you into the middle of the family where you will have up to 1 hour to enjoy this magical experience. The youngsters are often playful and can even be a little curious, venturing rather close to visitors. After our one hour is up we start our hike back to the ranger station, stopping to enjoy a packed lunch in the forest. We then head back to the lodge with our fond memories.

Day 03 : Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, on the 3rd day of the Wildlife Safari, Chimpanzee & Gorilla Trekking Uganda adventure, you will drive northwards through the beautiful Rwenzori mountain backdrops to Queen Elizabeth National Park enjoying yet again another gorgeous countryside drive. Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most popular park in Uganda as it offers diverse ecosystems, classic big game, and 10 primate species and over 600 bird species. On arrival you will head to the Mweya peninsular for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Be sure to get the best seat on the boat, for this up close and informational tour taking in a variety of shore birds, while giving you a new perspective to view Elephants, Buffalo, Hippo and Crocodile from the water. After the cruise we will head to the lodge for the dinner.

Day 04 : Queen Elizabeth National Park Wildlife Safari Game Drive

After breakfast drive to the Kasenyi sector for a game drive in the breeding grounds near the shores of Lake George. This is the primary area where Male Kob rut, battling one another for a mate. With all the action, Lions and Leopard are often unnoticed, which provides an exceptional opportunity for the predators to get within very close range of their prey. After the game drive we will drive to Ishasha Sector. The drive takes you through the western rift valley escarpment also known as the Ishasha sector. You will stop here to conduct another brief game drive where with luck, tree climbing lions could be spotted on the fig trees. Proceed and arrive Bwindi Forest in the evening.

Depart Queen that evening and head to Fort Portal for and overnight. We will drive West through farmlands, tea plantations, marshes and swamps seeing the beautiful countryside getting to Kibale in time for dinner.

Day 05 : Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National park

After lunch we will shake off the drive with a walk to the Bigodi swamp. The Bigodi Swamp is a paradise for bird watchers. Skilled birders can spot up to fifty new species on a bird list. Today, 138 species of bird have been recognized within the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary and among the major bird species within the sanctuary is the grand Blue Turaco. The swamp also harbors several primates’ species like the red colobus monkey, baboon, black & white colobus monkey, blue monkey grey cheeked, mangabey, vervet monkey, red tailed monkey and the L’Hoest monkey.

Day 06 : Chimp tracking in Kibale National park

After breakfast, your guide will walk / drive you to Kanyanchu Tourist centre where you will get a brief about the Chimpanzee Tracking experience in Kibale Forest. Kibale Forest is home to habituated Chimpanzees and diverse wildlife. The park rangers lead us into the tropical rain forest where we will make our first encounter with our closest relative. We will spend around one hour with the chimps before we hike back out and then head to the camp .While tracking chimpanzees, also look out for other primates such as the Red-tailed monkey and grey, L’hoestes, Colobus, Blue cheeked Mangabey. There are also several bird species and butterflies within the forest. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon after go to Bigodi for a swamp walk.

Day 07 : Departure for Kampala

Breakfast and then start the drive back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch. The drive takes us through some the agricultural areas and swamps as we drive north-east eventually meeting Lake Victoria. We will make a stop at the equator for some pictures and an opportunity to pick up some souvenirs from some of the local craftsmen. Stop over at particular spots for photo shots and at Mpambire drum makers before proceeding to Kampala where you will be dropped.
